What is it?

Topciment microcement is a decorative, composite coating based on cement, water-based resins, additives and mineral pigments.
It is an ideal material for both exterior and interior surfaces; applicable in floors, walls and ceilings… And the best thing is that it does not need joints! So, therefore, it makes cleaning and maintenance very easy.

Topciment offers you a wide range of possibilities and finishes, where the limitations are applied by you. It stamps your rooms with a unique and personal character, thanks to the different textures (thick, medium or fine), the great variety of colours, the different varnish finishes (matte, satin or gloss), or metallic-effect paints and glazes. Its handcrafted application makes the result of each job or project still more unique and special… Unrepeatable, because no two surfaces will be the same.

Imaginative and innovative… Any combination is possible with Topciment! Create the style you want: modern, classic or rustic. The choice is yours, and the pleasure of advising and helping you, is ours.

We care about the end result. That is the reason we wished to achieve an optimum, versatile and quality product, that lasts and maintains well and adapts to requirements; we have reached the balance point between hardness and flexibility.

And what does this mean? It means that our product will permit any surface to be covered, no matter how large, creating a continuous surface with no joints or fissures.

In this way places where dirt can lodge are avoided, cleaning and disinfection is facilitated, contributing to the maintenance of places free of germs and bacteria. It also allows a high resistance, both in the areas most exposed to traffic, and to the corrosive use of cleaning products; consequently, the most widespread demand for its application is in bathrooms and kitchens.

Types of
Microcement

At Topciment, more than just being microcement manufacturers, we are specialists, and that is what makes the difference.

We have 5 types of microcement which, according to the work requirements and the desired effect to be achieved, we recommend the following applications:

STTANDARD MICROBASE. It is the ideal microcement to obtain rustic floors or walls, of an artisan appearance with an irregular texture. It is also used as the preparation base for other finishes.

STTANDARD MICROSTONE. It is the microcement par excellence for exteriors, due to its uniform colour and appearance like that of stone, and with non-slip properties. Thick texture.

STTANDARD MICRODECK. It is the microcement best suited for floors, for its resistance in areas of intense traffic. Medium texture.

STTANDARD MICROFINO. It is the coating for walls; it has a fine finish and allows a diversity of finishing watermark effects. Fine texture.

STTANDARD AQUACIMENT. It is the ideal coating for pools and ponds, because of its resistance to salts and chlorine in the water.

How should it be applied?

For you to become an expert in microcement, we shall explain how:

The result is achieved by applying several layers.

1. To prepare the surface, apply two layers of microbase, with the mesh, which will serve as a support for the finished microcement.

2. Then apply two layers of microcement finish. This is the product combining the desired texture and colour, which gives the surface its final appearance.

3. Finally, to protect the finish, two coats of primer are initially applied, followed by two layers of water-based sealer.

4. And there you are!
